In lieu of any other provisions of the chapter related to holiday observance and compensation,
kelly shift employees shall receive, in December of each year, an amount equal to
the employee's straight time rate of compensation for 143 hours. Should a kelly shift
employee terminate during the course of the calendar year, the amount shall be 13
hours for each holiday observed between January 1 and the date of the termination.
