§ 9.32.090. Tour bus loading zones.

A.

In response to a request from an adjacent property owner, and based upon a determination that such action is consistent with the traffic management policies of the municipality, the traffic engineer may designate a tour bus loading zone outside of facilities which offer tourist-oriented attractions.

B.

The Anchorage Community Development Authority Parking Services Department may develop application requirements and establish fees to create, modify and maintain, and decommission the tour bus loading zone. These fees shall be paid by the requestor.

C.

Commercial tour vehicles may park in a tour bus loading zone for the purpose of passenger loading or unloading for a period not to exceed ten minutes.

D.

A tour bus loading zone is defined as two or more parking spaces.
