§ 9.32.060. Stopping, standing and parking of taxicabs.

  • The operator of a taxicab may not stand or park such vehicle at any place upon a street except as provided by this section. An operator of a taxicab may stand or park such vehicle at a designated taxicab stand or at a passenger or freight curb loading zone between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., unless that zone is otherwise posted. This section shall not prevent the operator of a taxicab from temporarily stopping in accordance with other stopping or parking regulations at any place for the purpose of, and while actually engaged in, the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers.
