§ 27.30.280. South Goldenview Area Rural Road Service Area.

A.

There is established, pursuant to Section 9.01 of the Charter, a rural road service area within the municipality designated the South Goldenview Rural Road Service Area (SGRRSA), as outlined on the map located in Section 27.30.700.

B.

Subject to review and prioritization by the board of supervisors, the South Goldenview Rural Road Service Area shall provide capital improvements for roads and drainage, and the maintenance thereof, within and over road rights-of-way in the service area.

The authority to provide capital improvements does not include construction of sidewalks, paved pathways, curbs, gutters or street lighting.

C.

Improvements for roads and drainage, and the maintenance thereof, shall commence on January 1, 2007. The mill rate for services provided in the service area shall not exceed 1.80 mills in any calendar year.

No more than 1.20 mills shall be designated for road and drainage maintenance; and

2.

No more than 0.60 mills shall be designated for capital improvements.
