§ 27.20.020. Appointment or election of members.

Members of appointed boards established under this chapter shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the assembly. Members of elected boards shall be elected in accordance with the procedures described in title 28. Members of an elected board shall be elected at large within the service area at the regular election of the municipality, except that the first board may be elected at the same time as the first delegation of power is submitted to the voters within the service area.
