§ 24.25.030. Emergency snowfall proclamation—Issuance.

A.

A proclamation issued pursuant to section 24.25.020 shall become effective no earlier than four hours after its issuance as follows:

1.

Publication shall be made by television and radio broadcasts throughout the Anchorage metropolitan area no less than three times each; and

2.

Publication shall include the time during which the proclamation shall be in effect, the nature of the behavior it proscribes and the areas it affects.

B.

A proclamation may also be published in one or more newspapers of general circulation and published in the municipality.

C.

The mayor shall execute a certificate which records compliance with this section for each proclamation.
