§ 23.10.107.5. Conditional Certificate of Occupancy issuance.

  • A.

    If the building official finds substantial hazard will not result from occupancy of a building or portion thereof before the same is completed, a Conditional Certificate of Occupancy for the use of a portion or portions of a building or structure may be issued prior to the completion of the entire building or structure.

    B.

    Conditional Certificates of Occupancy for exterior work not completed because of weather shall have an expiration date of August 15 of the following year.

    C.

    Expired conditional certificates may prevent the same permittee from receiving additional permits, as outlined in section 23.10.104.12.5 of this code.
