§ 23.10.104.13. Retention of construction documents.

The building official shall keep official records of applications received, permits
and certificates issued, fees collected, reports of inspections, and notices and orders
issued. One set of approved plans, specifications and computations shall be retained
in the official records for the period required for retention of public records, and
one set of approved plans and specifications shall be returned to the applicant and
shall be kept on the site of the building or work at all times while the work authorized
thereby is in progress. The building official will provide digital long term retention
documentation as per approved retention plan adopted by the Assembly including but
not limited to the following items: Applications, permits, certificates issued, fees
collected, reports of final inspections, and all notice and orders.
