§ 23.10.104.10.1. Information on construction documents.

Construction documents shall be legible, dimensioned and drawn upon suitable material.
Information on plans shall be organized in a logical manner to be readily understandable
by contractors, plan reviewers and inspectors. Electronic media documents are permitted
to be submitted when approved by the building official. Construction documents shall
be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature, and extent of the work
proposed and show in detail that the work will conform to the provisions of this code
and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as determined by the building
official. Extraneous details or other information not related to the project shall
not be included on the drawings.
Plans for buildings of other than Group R, Division 3 and Group U Occupancies shall
indicate how required structural and fire-resistive integrity will be maintained where
penetrations are made for electrical, mechanical, plumbing and communication conduits,
pipes and similar systems.
