§ 15.30.070. Circumvention.

  • A.

    No person shall willfully cause, allow or permit the installation or use of any device or use any means which, without resulting in a reduction in the total amount of air contaminant emitted, conceals an emission of air contaminant which would otherwise violate these regulations.

    B.

    No person shall cause, allow or permit the installation or use of any device or use of any means designed to mask the emission of an air contaminant which causes detriment to health, safety or welfare of any person.

    C.

    No person shall cause, permit or allow the use of air for dilution of emission contaminants without affecting any total decrease in such contaminants as a method to effect compliance with the requirements of this regulation.

    D.

    No person shall cause, permit or allow the use of stack heights that exceed good engineering practice or dispersion techniques to affect the degree of emission limitation required for control of air contaminants.
